About us and how we are paid

Battery Payback is a Melbourne website that works out what a battery, solar, an EV charger or a heat pump will actually save, using your own usage and current Victorian rebates and tariffs.

We are not electricians. Every job is quoted, installed and certified by a licensed, registered electrical contractor (REC) – their business name and REC number are on your written quote – and your contract and workmanship warranty are with them.

Not connected to Solar Tactics Pty Ltd: if you were a Solar Tactics customer, that business has closed – for warranty claims contact your panel, inverter or battery manufacturer.

When you go ahead, our partner pays us a referral fee. It is not added to your price, and the calculator results are the same whether you buy or not.
